Gratitude

I am trying to write this before Peter awakes from his slumber and disturbs this peaceful moment. I am so grateful. In these past few months we have struggled in our home. There has been strife and grief. There have been sleepless nights and newly created worry lines. There has been a lot of doing without. But:

My pantry has remained full
Generous invitations accepted
Our social calender filled
Job offers have been made and positively acknowledge

The windows of Heaven have been opened, blessing have been poured and we have no room to receive all that we have received ( Malachi 3:10). So we turn around and take all the physical blessing that we can't fit into our tiny home and give them to others. Then we take the rest and lock them in our hearts as we write them down in our journals to be sealed in place for a happy reminder for another grey day. This has been our opportunity and our gratitude.
