I walked into Wendi's house yesterday and saw Wendi and Sarah up to their elbows in tomatoes leaning over the kitchen sink. Tomato guts squirted all over the front of their shirts they welcomed me to join them. "What fun!"
There were ten buckets of tomatoes that had to be preserved and the clock was tickin'! Hour after hour we cut and gutted tomatoes tossing them into the blender and then throwing them into a pot on the stove, and chatting our hearts out the entire time. Lovely conversations made the work less monotonous and at the end of the day our backs ached but in a good way. Ten buckets turned into two and one heavy burden lifted.
