Easter time has come and gone but this was one to remember. We focused a lot on the events of Christ's final days on Earth and it really made all the difference. At least for me it did.
Here are some pictures of the secular things we did as a family. We can't take a picture of the changes that have occured in our hearts or I would have photographed them to share with you all as well.
For Family Home Evening we dyed eggs one week .
On the Saturday before Easter we went to Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton, VA for an Easter egg hunt. It was tons of fun! They had egg dyeing, a moon bounce, balloon animals, and of course an Easter egg hunt. We had a beautiful morning.
Matt and Peter on the egg field getting ready to hunt!During the hunt and after the hunt. Peter made out really well and he did it, "all by himself".
Easter morning after Peter hunted more eggs in our living room.
I went to church on Sunday with gratitude and humility in my heart as I thought about the empty tomb. I tried to put into words how I felt but really there are no words. Just like there was no body. Just glory and eternal life.

Hi Kristin,
We wanted to let you know about our new site: www.MommyGiggles.com.
Mommy Giggles is a site where moms submit funny pictures to share with other moms to get a giggle out of. They can either be pictures of their kids or of other hilarious “mommy moments”
We are contacting you to see if you have a funny picture that we could post – we would of course give you the credit, and also post your blog (if you want). There is also a $25 Amazon Gift card drawing to everyone who submits a photo each month.
We also would appreciate if you could spread the word about our site to other moms too!
We hope you will get a “giggle” out of our site.
Warmest Regards,
Heather Matthews & Heidi Werry
