About three weeks ago I was driving to drop Peter off at his Pop's house before I went to work. I was almost there when I my phone rang. I picked up because it was MB. "Hi honey, how are you?" he said.
"I am fine, what's up sweetie?" I responded.
" I just got laid off".....
We just don't need you anymore. It wasn't even 8 in the morning and he was heading home. I on the other hand was heading to MB's parents house and from there to work.
"do you think you could give my folk a heads up for me, that way they know before I get there to pick up Peter." He asked
"Sure" I breathed, "I can do that".
"great" he said, "Don't worry, we are going to be fine."
So I told his folks as I dropped off Pete and they were as shocked as I was. "Everything is going to be fine." they reassured.
"Sure," I said and went to the car to cry.
A few weeks have passed and the insurance is gone but the unemployment is applied for. Resumes have been sent across the country. Hard wood floors were installed in our living room. We took a vacation with family and now we are home. Matt will be doing a little side work with a friend to keep busy and we will keep trucking along. We will be just fine.
ALL ABOARD! The Unemployment Train.

Come to Colorado!!!!!! I am so sorry about this new obstacle in your life but I love your perspective and only pray that I can be as upbeat and optimistic during my trials. Love you!
