This weekend my baby turned one!
We had an incredably beautiful day! We were so blessed. I didn't know how our little house was going to fit so many people but the worry was futile (like all worring)and everyone was outside almost the entire time! Peter only got one short nap that day so by the end of his party he was so sleepy!
We tried to get Peter interested in his cake but he was already feeling so tired!
It took him a while but he did eventully dig into his cake!
And then wanted to share with his Aunt Jen!
My two younger sisters came down from Bean Town to celebrate with us. It was fun being with them and I wish we could have had more time to do some more fun things. Next time! I know Peter was glad you came!
He loved opening his presents and got some cool Sun glasses from some friends that he really liked.
There was a huge difference between Christmas and his birthday opening presents wise. At Christmas he was all about the paper. As for his Birthday he was all about the paper and the presents too. We had such a delightful day!
Thanks to all who came to enjoy the beautiful weather with us and the celebration of our little man's birth!
We survived the first year with flying colors! He is strong, healthy and so cute!
Matt and I have been reminising all weekend about life back when he was an infant. We grew sad just thinking about how the easy part was over. When he was an infant we faced sleeplessness and a lot of spit up but that is nothing compared to Peter learning the word 'no', walking, temper tantrums and potty training. Yikes! I hope we are ready!

How wonderful Krisin. Your little family is so beautiful. Peter is so adorable. Happy Birthday Peter! I wish I could have been there. I hope we can chat soon. You look fantastic Kristin.
Happy Birthday Pete - and Matt! We wished that we could have been there!
Hey Diva, I am so sad I had to miss PB's birthday. It looked like a lot of fun! The cake looked awesome...looking forward to our next visit :)
He is SO cute and that cake is really fun too! The first year is easy, but this next year is a lot of FUN. So far I think age 3 has been the most challenging for me. He's a cutie though!
