Peter did very well with his first offical road trip. He slept in the car the whole way and only woke up when we stopped for food. It was very well timed. We traveld from NJ through the Eastern Shore, over the Cheasepeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel ( the coolest longest ride ever!) down to Virginia Beach, where we dropped off Remi and met up with my old college roomate. Then we headed north west to Front Royal to visit my family. We did a lot of driving and every time we put Peter in his car seat, it didn't matter how long it had been since his last nap, he would be out within five minuets of driving. He is an easy baby and we adore him!
Here are some of the people he met during our trip around Virginia.

This is Emma, my good friend Alison's little girl. She loved little Peter!

This is Ella. She was born a month before Peter and boy oh boy were her mom and I excited for them to be reunited! We're sure they hung out before they were born!

This is Aunt Emallie. She met Pete for the frist time since he was born He just loves his Auntie Em.

Kristin! What a fun surprise to hear from you! I'm thrilled to see that you have a blog so we can keep up with you. Your little Peter is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Enjoy every moment of it. Let us know if you ever find your way back up here. We'd LOVE to see you & meet your family!
go you on your trip!! we made a long one with mercy when she was about peters age, it was the best trip we've had. lol!
I'm very glad you made the road trip to see us. Okay, so it wasn't to see us, but we benefited vicariously. Ella and Peter make a great couple, eh? Although he could go for the older women like Emma... the competition already begins for Peter's heart:)
Ella's been much better since starting her on her tummy medicine. We can't wait to see you again when she's not as fussy!
