Thanks Giving

Thanksgiving has come and gone. Sadly I must return to work and to my studies, i write this with a long sigh. I loved being with my family and friends. When I am with them all my walls are down, well except one wall, I had to keep that wall up to protect myself from one friend( of the male gender) or there may have been trouble, but that is another story. I am truly grateful for them and for all that I have been blessed.
Here are some other things in which I am grateful. I am thankful for goats, they are funny looking animals, cheese because it is yummy, pretty flowers in bunches of colors, contemporary art--the good kind, like Matisse and Miro`-- I am grateful for empathetic people who share their "been there" stoires and help me restore my perspective. I am grateful for kissing and deep strong hugs, holidays, smart people who aren't pompus, the soft voice and stirring lyrics of Iron and Wine, little kids who can't stop laughing, my '96 Buick, Truth with a captial " T", and so much more!
I am even grateful for all of the people who express their exsaperation for the results of the last election! I think it is funny that many feel it is the end of the world, really, we are no more closer than we were before. That is all I will say about that right now.
